Student Conflict Resolution Center

The Student Conflict Resolution Center offers informal and formal conflict resolution services to resolve students' university-based problems and concerns. An ombudsman provides confidential, neutral and informal options. An advocate is available to assist students in formal grievance or disciplinary proceedings.

Office for Conflict Resolution

The Office for Conflict Resolution is a system-wide office dedicated to assisting faculty, staff, and student workers with employment-related concerns. It provides a variety of informal conflict resolution services: private consultations, facilitation of difficult discussions, problem-solving, and mediation. The Office for Conflict Resolution also administers a formal petition process for complaints that allege a violation of a University policy or practice.

Graduate School

The mission of the Graduate School is to ensure quality in graduate education, advocate for the academic and professional development of graduate students, advance intellectual communication and scholarship across disciplines, and promote cultural diversity, scholarly integrity, and inclusivity. The Graduate School promotes an institutional culture of graduate student advising excellence.

Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides cost-free and confidential professional consultation and referral services for University employees, academic staff, and faculty who have work or personal concerns. Spouses/partners and dependents are also eligible for EAP services.

International Student and Scholar Services

International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) is the office dedicated to serving the University of Minnesota's international community. Its primary mission is to assist international students and scholars in successfully accomplishing the goals that brought them to the University, by using all available resources.

University Counseling and Consulting Services

University Counseling & Consulting Services' staff is composed of professionals with backgrounds in Counseling and Clinical Psychology. All permanent professional staff hold masters or doctoral degrees in their fields of study. Doctoral interns and doctoral or master's-level practicum provide clinical services under the direct supervision of the senior staff.
